surveillance songs 2006
surveillance songs was a collaborative piece between myself, Ikon Gallery and
Handsworth Grammar School during a hot summer week in Birmingham. I also worked with Steve Symons and Tim Lambert on
it. We spent the week recording sounds around the school and then sequencing them in a piece of audio software called SuperCollider. Then we explored getting camera data to modulate the sequences. Finally we wired up a screen and made a box for it. It will be installed at Handsworth Grammar School in 2007
